The Victorian Government often talks about relieving the pressure on Victorians. So, why are they putting pressure on fruit and veg prices?
We’re standing up against the Allan Government’s decision to increase Melbourne Market rents by up to 100% over the next 10-years.
The decision to increase rents at the Melbourne Wholesale Fruit and Vegetable Market in Epping is unsustainable, unjust, and bloody unbelievable. It shows a complete lack of understanding on the part of the Melbourne Market Authority (MMA) and the State Government about the pressure businesses and Victorian families are already under.
It’s time to Take the Pressure Off wholesalers, growers, retailers and all Victorians before this unnecessary decision devastates an entire industry.
